When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information, or other details to help you with your experience. The information that we collect will be used to contact or identify you.

 

This data solely exists in order to provide the services. For example, this data is gathered so that we can call you back if you get in touch, so we can give you the best advice on how to prepare for your photoshoot, or schedule a photography project or to send you an invoice or receipt.

As part of our business, we will need to share our photography services on our website and social media channels.  When publishing online, this website data may be re-posted or shared. This consent will be taken from our booking form and specifically list consent as ‘opt-in’. At any time, you may request for the post to be removed, but please understand that we cannot be responsible for re-posts/shares.

Data collection and retention:

Data is submitted by email, phone or online booking form. 

Data is stored in an online, GDPR compliant system called Studio Ninja and a password protected and encrypted contact form through a website called Formsite. Only data relating to providing the service is kept.

Our business involves the taking of photographs. As such, we intend to archive purchased images for the lifetime of the business. This is ensure that clients may retrieve past projects/images, should they need further copies/prints/albums etc. In order to maintain an effective archive, the basic personal data is also retained for the lifetime of the archive. 

Any information which relates to enquiries and does not result in a contract/service, will be retained for reference as emails are not routinely deleted. This information / Email / Contact form result can be removed on request.

Access to the data we hold and the right to remove:

At any time, you may request via email/phone, to see what data we hold. We aim to retrieve this data in a timely and efficient manner. 

Any data held, provided it is not needed on a legitimate legal basis (e.g. invoicing/contractual), may be removed on request.
